I’m Letting Shaun T Kick My Butt! SHAUN MONTH Day One!

When I first started to workout, I didn’t know Shaun T from a can of paint.
I was a Tony Horton girl. Power 90 had gotten me into the Beachbody family. I wasn’t sure I wanted to work out with another trainer. But after realizing that Tony Horton would not care, I decided to tackle Insanity.
Looking back, I realize that I had been very ambitious!
But I got through the round and fell in love with Shaun T! He has a way of handing your butt to you, making you call him very, very bad names, and then show up the next day for more.
Since then I have done Insanity again, Hip Hop Abs, Rockin’ Abs and CIZE. I was going to do Insanity: The Asylum but when I tried to get a crew together to do it with me no one wanted to. So I chickened out. Bolk Bolk!
I have been following Shaun T’s podcasts but he hadn’t released a new work out since CIZE in 2015.
Until a couple weeks ago…….
Shaun T returned in a big way with “SHAUN WEEK” on Beachbody On Demand.
7 days of work outs that make you dig deep! Cardio, Weights, Plyo….oh my!
I was SO PSYCHED to do Shaun Week.
Every day was a new challenge. I pushed myself, I made horrible noises, I actually cried at one point but I LOVED IT!!!! I showed up every day excited to see what Shaun T had in store. I love that he combines mental strength with physical strength in this program.
So when I heard that someone had created a SHAUN MONTH calendar I was so excited!!!!!
The Monday after Shaun Week was the Shift Shop sneak peek and I wasn’t missing that. I’m OCD about starting programs on Mondays so I waited until yesterday to begin the Shaun Month schedule. (I sampled other work outs from BOD in between)
It was as challenging as I remembered!
Day One is “Insane Basics” and it is Insane!
I’m looking forward to the next few weeks of sweat and strength!
