Core De Force Round One!
I can not believe how quickly the first 30 days of this program have gone by!
I made sure to sign up with a Challenge Group when I did this program. Even though I am a coach I still need support and accountability. I was excited to start this program because I love the martial arts based program that I did in the past, and love the kickboxing class I go to on Tuesday nights.
I signed a contract with this group stating that I would show up, do the work outs and follow the meal plan. I am usually really good with doing the work outs in a program, but the nutrition side is where I struggle. I don’t eat sweets so that isn’t an issue for me, but I love my nachos. Nachos are my Kryptonite and having only limited amounts of cheese allowed in the program is always the toughest for me.
But I did it 🙂
Core De Force includes the Portion Fix container system and meal plan that is easy to follow. The meal plan includes recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and sauces and dressings. I tried several of the recipes and liked them all! Jalapeno Cheddar burgers??? Oh yeah!
I was fortunate enough to be able to work out with the creators of this program, Jericho Mc Matthews and Joel Freeman, last month. They were really awesome! Did a Q&A, led a full work out, and were just really down to earth and sweet. During the Q&A someone asked what they were going to do for Thanksgiving. They both answered simultaneously: “EAT!” Joel said that if we are following the plan and it is our lifestyle, two days a year (Thanksgiving and Christmas) of eating what we want and enjoying it are not going to unravel all of the good.
Even with that sage wisdom, the only things that I had off the program for Thanksgiving were a Tablespoon of mashed potatoes, a Tablespoon of stuffing and a sliver of sugar free Pumpkin pie. Other than that I was on point for the 30 days.
I never missed a work out. There were days where I had to fight the evil little voice trying to convince me to skip a day, but I was determined and stuck with it every single day.
At the end of it all I was down 2 pounds and a couple inches. That may not sound that impressive, but I feel so much stronger! I can hold a plank longer with less effort, I can do moves on day 30 that seemed impossible on day 1. I definitely got results even if they aren’t showing in the typical way. It also occurred to me that I have been doing full Beachbody programs for 3 years now. I am at an awesome place as far as my weight and body measurements go. If I had crazy weight loss results every time I did a program my weight would be in the negative numbers now. I am thrilled with maintaining the number on the scale and seeing my body change and become more toned and stronger.
There were many people in the group that did have significant weight loss and inches lost results. I was happy to cheer them on and celebrate their victories with them.
I was so happy with how I had stuck to the program, I did a happy dance 🙂 You can see it here: 2016-12-06-11-21-13
I am starting Round two on Monday and can not wait to see the changes in my body that will happen after I do a round with the Deluxe schedule. I am starting a group for Core De Force. If you would like to give it a try please send me a message. The Challenge Pack is available this month at a deal that will not be available anymore after the end of the month. Do the work outs, follow the meal plan, drink the healthiest meal of the day, and if it winds up not being what you want in the first 30 days, get your money back 🙂
