30 Days of Country Heat!

I absolutely love when Beachbody releases new programs. I have done many of them and most of them have been a great fit for me.

I felt the same way about Country Heat. I had first heard of it months ago and was very excited for it’s release this summer.  The annual big conference of Beachbody Coaches, called Summit, has been held in Nashville the last two years. I went both years and fell in love with Nashville! I met some really awesome musicians and really enjoyed the vibe of the city.

I think that added to my excitement about this program 🙂 But even if you are not a Nashville or country music plan, you can still enjoy this program and benefit from the exercise.

The things I liked best about doing the Country Heat programs every day were:

  • Every work out is approximately 30 Minutes long
  • The program is 6 days a week and 1 rest day
  • You only do 1-2 moves at a time so there isn’t a lot of memorization.
  • The moves were simple and even the ones that I didn’t get right the first time I could figure out quickly.
  • I didn’t feel like I was “working out” yet I was sore at the end so my muscles were working!

I started in September. I had been slowly sliding off of the Clean Eating wagon and finally just gave myself permission to jump off, land in the middle of the street and roll down the hill for a week. I really thought I would enjoy a week of eating all of the “sometimes foods” that I usually keep to sometimes: nachos, hoagies, pizza, cheesesteaks….at the end of that week I felt AWFUL!

I took my “before” pics and started my Country Heat journey. I did the containers faithfully for a bit, then I followed them mostly. No excuses, I just dropped the ball. Even with that, I did not skip any of the work outs and got my Country Groove on every day 🙂

 

 

 

I drank my Shakeology every day (Never miss a day!!!) and really looked forward to getting my dance on. I have always been a mild country fan. I definitely like some songs but do not listen to country music daily. I wound up buying a couple of the songs used in the program from iTunes because I enjoyed them so much LOL

 

Day 30 came before I knew it. Because I was less than perfect with nutrition I wasn’t expecting much in the way of results.

I took my measurements and I was really surprised!

I had lost 5 pounds and 3 inches on my waist!!!! WHOO HOO!!!!

 

I definitely recommend this program to anyone who is looking for a fun cardio program, no equipment and does not have a lot of time to invest. I have used the container system many times and it works!!!! If you use it 🙂
