Body Beast Week 8
I’m really surprised at how quickly the weeks are flying by with this work out. I think the reason for that is because I still love it!
Next week I’ll be going from the Bulk phase back to the Build Phase. That means more carbs! I still haven’t mastered the eating plan yet, but to be perfectly honest it’s because I haven’t looked in the book. I know for Bulk you need more protein so I have been making sure I eat more protein than carbs and healthy fats. I do need to start doing things correctly and not half assing it thinking I know what’s up and don’t have to follow the rules. That’s when my abs don’t show as quickly as I want because I really *don’t* know everything!
I have been able to lift heavier weights on some of the moves. I feel so proud of myself when I’m lifting something I could barely pick up at the beginning of this program. I’m still not lifting “Heavy” by Sagi Kalev standards, but by Chelley Kraft standards, I’m doing great!
Starting on Monday I will be adding 22 Minute Hard Corps to my routine as well. In March I did several challenges (A push up challenge, an arm challenge and a level one general exercise challenge) in addition to Body Beast. While I am still doing the one challenge to finish out the week, I think Body Beast and 22 Minute Hard Corps will suit me just fine for the next couple months. My tush is going to be kicked!
